It all started about 3 years ago. 2 very good and talented friends were working in their garage on a new start-up called Sortfix. At the time I was still working for a mobile operator, and started working a ‘second shift’ at nights trying to find funding for Sortfix and doing some marketing for them as well.
Two years later, I quite my day job. I’m a self-employed Business Developer for different companies, mostly web based, assisting with raising funds, business development, marketing and some social media. Sortfix that were my first project, became a company in 2009 and got funded, today I’m still assisting Sortfix with their online marketing. My current portfolio also includes Forex Crunch, Quammy, Fribiz and Ex-Africa.
Additionally, I write for The Networking Blog on business and social networking along side with Yohay Elam, for Sortfix’s blog on search engines, technology and search algorithms and I’m part of the team launching the Israeli technology blog ‘The Wadi’.
Here, on this blog I’ll share my thoughts and insights on the tech industry, my projects and interesting things I find on the way. Additional to the contact page you can also mail me at doron @ dorongez . com
